Christian Service will again be sponsoring a Giving Tree this year. This is one way of remembering and living out what Jesus came to 
show us – that we are all brothers and sisters and are called to love one another. Make it a 
family activity or an individual means of entering into the Christmas spirit. It will be the same as last year with poster boards. Tags will be available starting Saturday, November 16, 2024. Each sticky note will have the name of a gift that is needed. Many of the requests continue to be gift cards, allowing individuals to shop for their family’s needs. 

This year we are supporting the following organizations:
Families of St. Faustina Church
Nativity of Our Lord Church – Detroit
St. Dominic Outreach Center – Detroit
St. Pio Baby Closet – Macomb County
St. Raymond – Detroit
St. Faustina St. Vincent de Paul

To participate simply follow these directions:
1. Select a sticky note from one of the boards.
2. Purchase the item.
3. DO NOT wrap or place gifts in any type of bag. Place the purchased item
along the wall under the boards.
4. All gift cards should be put in an envelope, attach the sticky note and put in the designated box.
5. Bring the gift back to the church by Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Pickup and/or delivery will be the following day. 
The reason why we deliver these gifts so early is because the organizations need enough time to unpack, organize and to distribute them before Christmas.
