Jesus Christ initiated seven sacraments that are accompanying us during our life span. They are: Baptism, Penance, Eucharist, Confirmation, Matrimony, Ordination and the Sacrament of the Sick. Today 11 students are receiving the 4th Sacrament of Initiation— Confirmation. Confirmation complements and enhances our Baptism and orientates us towards the Eucharist. The anointing, during the Liturgy of the Mass by Bishop Hanchon, consecrates the students in a two fold manner: first allowing the students to be brought more deeply into the Eucharistic Celebration and second fortifying the Confirmandi to bear witness before the world to Christ who is founder of our Catholic faith and our Savior. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Welcome Bishop Hanchon to our parish to minister the Sacrament of Confirmation.
