Sacristans - Sacristans make preparations for Mass and other liturgical activities. They come to church early to set up vessels, books, candles, etc. to ensure sacred liturgies can run smoothly. Parishioners age 18 and over are welcome to join this ministry.
Ushers - Ushers are the 'first face' of our parish. They greet parishioners and guests coming into the church, offer assistance to those in need, take up the offertory collection, and monitor all entrances. Parishioners age 18 and over are welcome to join this ministry.
Altar Servers - Altar servers reverently assist the celebrant at weekend Mass and at special liturgies throughout the year. Any parishioner who has celebrated their confirmation is welcome to join this ministry.
Readers - Readers/Lectors proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. He or she may also announce the intentions for the Universal Prayer and, in the absence of a psalmist, recite the Psalm between the readings. Parishioners of at least high school age are welcome to join this ministry.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC's) - EMHC's (previously known as Eucharistic Ministers) assist in the distribution of Holy Communion in a reverent and orderly manner. They may also bring Communion to parishioners who are unable to get to church. Parishioners age 18 and over are welcome to join this ministry.
The Worship Commission provides appropriate formation for Lay Ministries.
